[edit]First sentence: "Somatization is a tendency to experience and communicate psychological distress in the form of somatic symptoms". Yeah. Using the word "somatic" in an explanation of what "somatization" is truly explains everything. And what are "somatic symptoms"? - CORRECTION: https://scholars.mssm.edu/en/publications/medically-unexplained-symptoms-in-an-urban-general-medicine-pract-2 is the only source from Adriana Feder, MD, with any link to topic. It does not, however, indicate that somatic disorders are often also characterized by seeking medical help. This study can be used as source later in the article, along with other studies, if discussing the population variations seen with somatization. Faroucheboi (talk) 23:59, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
