Quality Control Activity

[edit]

I believe this refers to the Software Quality Control activity 'Formal Technical Review'. If that is indeed the case, then it should encompass all activities like Inspections, Walkthroughs and other technical assessments of the product and related activities. For more reference I would like to direct you to the precursor of Formal Technical Review , Fagan's code inspection techniques [Fagan, 1976; Fagan, 1986] and Humphrey's software review method, which consists of a producer guiding a review team through all the available material. This article so far has reflected mostly the form FTRs take right about the time after the design phase. I'd seriously like to have some thoughts on these ideas from accomplished people in the field with some references before even contemplating an edit here
