NSPE Lawsuits? Professionalism?

Can anyone produce any sources at all for the supposed lawsuit filed by NSPE? It's the sort of thing they might do, but the details and citations aren't there -- who did they file suit against, for instance? Possibly the existence of this lawsuit and its outcome are a form of subtle vandalism; both were inserted by anonymous users, though at different ISPs. Nybbler 21:34, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

NSPE has no record of any lawsuits to prevent the use of the term "Software Engineer". Most States allow the use of the term "Software Engineer" on business cards or letterheads if the person works for the US Government, NASA, manufacturers, or any other exempt industry. I've taken out the claim that "NSPE sued in all states to outlaw the use of the term Software Engineer as a noun or field of employment." which was anonymously inserted in 2002. I also added some ACM statements and a reference. --NealMcB (talk) 22:50, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
