expansion

I listed this article for expansion because it is important in terms of Portuguese, Mozambican and generally world history and there is significant information on it in the 1911 Encyclopedia, of which I added a link. It's not inaccurate. The first people to access Sofala and make it a hub were traders from Mogadishu in the early 10th C. The Swahili of Kilwa wrested control of Sofala from Mogadishu quite a bit later c. 1180s. Walrasiad (talk) 14:52, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Sofala

Sofala was under King Mutasa of Manyika Kingdom not Mwenemutapa. Mutapa made claims, he never ruled Sofala Mindthem (talk) 14:25, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
