Old Logo Issue

How do I remove this notice, since this image is no longer used on the page?

The notice should still remain, since the image policy will remain intact, even if it is not being used on a page. Oxfordwang (talk) 21:18, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

I don't understand, if this image no longer exists, isn't used on a wikipage and will never be used on a wikipage, then we still need the fair use rationale request for the image?
