Template:Infobox military conflict

[edit]

The Snipe incident was neither war, battle, combat nor skirmish. The "beligerents" never confronted each other.

The Template:Infobox military conflict usage chapter states that:

A military conflict infobox (sometimes referred to as a warbox) may be used to summarize information about a particular military conflict (a battle, campaign, war, or group of related wars) in a standard manner.

So, the use of the Template presents the incident as a battle, and it was not a battle. The use of the template distorts the facts. --Keysanger 20:56, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
