Effectiveness

[edit]

Snaffles are highly effective when you are riding a horse. They work well on yearlings if you are just getting them used to a bit.

Etymology

[edit]

In order to help make this article more properly encyclopedic, shouldn't we add the etymology of the word "snaffle? 76.190.213.189 (talk) 23:47, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fitting Section Removed

[edit]

I took the liberty to remove the Fitting section. It was entirely unsourced (and had been tagged as such for over two years now), and was written as a how-to manual. Remember, Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, textbook, or scientific journal. Having information on how they are fit to horses is not a bad thing, but it shouldn't be written as a how-to manual and must be sourced. nf utvol (talk) 22:45, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
