[edit]This article reads like a personal essay and it is unclear where the information was sourced from. It requires inline citations and references. Are there any Smiley Bates fans out there who can help? RuthLivingstone (talk) 23:58, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. The writing definitely needs citations, has flourishing language like "The club circuit is an exhausting life, with little chance to develop one's own style, especially in the fields of songwriting and recording, and seven years is a long time", but I wouldn't be surprised if the entire thing was swiped from some biography chapter. -AngusWOOF (talk) 06:07, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
