UK

Flavor Mixes
[edit]We shouldn't go through naming the different mixes of flavors you can make because there are so many. My friends and I have come up with a name for almost every combo, but they are by no means offical or even commonly used. "ghost" and "suicide" are probaly the only ones that are universal names. Slush Puppie and Slurpee.

Spelling

In the first place, it makes no sense to say that the spelling represents a dog; it's the term that does, and it need not be floppy-eared. so who sells these?
[edit]i am in the US where the term is quite common, and often used interchangeably with (7-11 brand name) "slurpee". so we are used to seeing slush puppies SOMEWHERE.
but if not 7-11, where? competing convenience stores? supermarkets? restaurant chains? as in, would mcd's or KFC or someone be selling slush puppies, complete w that name?
compare this to "icee", which i know only from old movies, historic photographs, etc. unlike "slush puppie" which seems very much a "live" term, readily available SOMEWHERE in the here and now. 2601:18A:807C:1C40:BD7D:5CF:42D3:B3C7 (talk) 13:47, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
