Contradiction with the "Watermill" Article

[edit]

I would like to point out that there is a contradiction between this article and the "Watermill." The "Watermill" article claims that the slitting mill was invented in France in 1443. This article contradicts that claim by stating that the slitting mill was invented near Liège, modern-day Belgium, at a presumably much later date. I personally do not know much about the history of slitting mills myself, so I would appreciate if a more experienced user corrected this error.
