Remove OSA explanation

I feel that a whole section describing OSA is unnecessary. I believe a short explanation in the introduction, plus a simple wikilink would suffice. Any comment before I remove this section? Attaboy (talk) 19:22, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Recategorizing procedure based on anatomy

Hello, I merged content from other articles (Snoring, Obstructive sleep apnea) to this article. The main reason for this was that surgical procedures for all sleep related breathing disorders appear to be the same. I did a 90% rewrite on snoring and concluded there was no point in duplicating surgical content when essentially the same content would be covered on OSA. Then I found this sleep surgery article and thought it would be better to do a summary style by merging surgical content from OSA and leaving a minimal summary section on OSA with a link to this article.

I did not check the references thoroughly but I can see there is unsupported content, primary sources, unsuitable sources, and some tone issues. I often find "advertising" tone on surgical content (the sentence you pasted above has borderline advertising tone). I'm hoping to work further on this article and the sub articles of some of the individual procedures (as alluded to in these edit summaries when I merged some content here ). It is likely the article will need extensive work... better refs and complete re-write. If any other editor wants to do some of that work, that would be very helpful.
