For once, we have nice images in a Wikipedia article. Kudos! :) --logixoul 09:58, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

typewriter model

[edit]

Is this essentially a monospace slab serif, or is it not necessarily limited to monospace? The article isn't clear. ⇔ ChristTrekker 15:50, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Monospace is for typewriters

[edit]

The exception is those that are monospaced, because of their usage in typewriters, but that is declining as electronic publishing becomes more common.

What? Monospace isn't just for typewriters, monospace is used in text editors (and online samples), that display plain text, such as code.--DasRakel (talk) 10:11, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fink Heavy?

[edit]

Is there an accepted typographical term for uneven slab serif typefaces in the vein of House Industries' Fink Bold and Fink Heavy? --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 17:45, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
