Suspenders?

Feels more like personal essay

A lot of the language here feels like it would be in a personal essay, not an encyclopedia. Especially the sentences " Motivated by social alienation " and " The rise to prominence of skinheads ". ~2025-32690-37 (talk) 00:41, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Agreed. I just checked the first source expecting to find justification for the political terminology, especially the reference to the "bourgeois hippie movement ". It wasn't in there at all. And a lot of what was in the first half of the introduction seems to be uncited. Most of this section could/should be moved to the origins and first wave section, and cited properly. I am a fairly inconsistent and new editor but will try and work on this over the next week or so. CuriousTapestry (talk) 00:52, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
