Steel industry sense of the word "skelp"
[edit]Skelp is not only or especially cheap iron. In the steel industry, "skelp" is the general name for flat pieces, of any quality level, that will get formed and welded into pipe and tubing. I will add this info either tonight or tomorrow (it is late). — ¾-10 03:21, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
