Article says "In its modern form, the use of skell as a slang term in the United States appears to date only from the 1970s".

I've literally never heard this used in New York City. However, I've frequently heard e.g. bodega, schmuck, bubkes, on line, etc. Is this term (skel) restricted to a particular cultural group? --Alex Hajnal (talk) 11:56, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
