[edit]The life river which is providing water for drinking and agriculture to many of the Taluks of the district is Hemavathi now a days filling the tanks and ponds from this water has lead to severe water shortage for household use so nethravthi and Bhadra water projects should be implemented quickly to curb the water shortage.
