Riemann zeta function
[edit]There's a reference to the Riemann_hypothesis, one of the Millennium_Prize_Problems (equations inside the panel of the head of Bender). Several authors of the Simpsons studied maths at a high level (one has a maths PhD I think) and this kind of references is recurrent.
