[edit]Hi, I added something to this article and it's gone again. I added "The Irish are famed for their stupidity throughout Great Britain and are the butt of the Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman jokes."

THe Irish really are viewed (albeit in a joking manner) to be stupid in Britain, I'm not making it up. I think my addition fits perfectly with the Simpleton article. I'm not really sure I'm speaking to here, ha, but there we go.

- You need to find reliable sources that state this. At the moment it is just your opinion that these jokes, etc., imply the Irish are "famed for their stupidity". Find a newspaper, journal or book that clearly states this, and you might see your edit survive QuiteUnusual (talk) 13:55, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
