I deleted a huge chunk of material, but as far as I can tell, not a bit of it had anything to do with a Wikipedia page that someone might be looking for with "simple". There's already a link to Wiktionary. —johndburger 02:30, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

SIMPLE (Standard Interface for Military Platform Link Evaluation)
[edit]This is a military messaging protocol defined in STANAG 5602. Refer to Link 16, J-Series messages and Tactical Data Links (TDLs or TADILs). Should be dis-ambiguated from the SIP-based SIMPLE messaging protocol. Note also users may search for lower case (simple) as well as upper case (SIMPLE). Should also be an article for this military protocol?

- Oppose per WP:NOTDICT. No evidence is given that encyclopedia readers typing "Simple" are searching for a glorified WP:DICDEF on simplicity, when there are quite a large number of actual encyclopedic topics on the Simple DAB page. I agree that SIMPLE should have been merged, though. — AjaxSmack 16:37, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, pending more evidence that Simplicity is the PRIMARYTOPIC. Being the origin or namesake of all the other terms on a dab does not necessarily mean a topic is primary; Harald Bluetooth doesn't get precedence over Bluetooth.
