Unwin continues to be Emeritus Professor of Architecture at the University of Dundee.

Unwin does currently reside in Cardiff. He also continues to teach at the Welsh School of Architecture.

In addition to the six books mentioned Unwin has recently begun publishing a series of Analysing Architecture Notebooks. The first three titles of this series are:

Metaphor: an exploration of the metaphorical dimensions and potential of architecture Curve: possibilities and problems with deviating from the straight in architecture Children as Place-Makers: the innate architect in all of us

2. N The claim involving the position of emeritus professor at the University of Dundee was not added. This claim should contain a reference to the University of Dundee's website where this information is described. As they are the employer, they are best positioned to offer verification of this claim. The subject is not listed at the University of Dundee's Directory Page of Emeritus Professors.
3. N The Welsh School of Architecture (WSA) describes the subject as a member of an "External editorial board" and lists the subject as Simon Unwin (Emeritus Professor, Dundee School of Architecture). However, this description of the subject as an emeritus professor at Dundee is listed on WSA's website, which is not the Dundee School of Architecture. The link placed in the subject's name at the WSA site links to the subject's own website. Thus, the claim involving the subject "continuing to teach at" the WSA was not added, since verification of the claim in the edit request proposal was not provided.

The University's list of Emeritus Professors ends in 2007. I was appointed in 2009. I have my letter of appointment here. Can I send you a scan?

COI I am the subject of this page. I am not being paid to suggest edits. A previous editor - Spintendo - has requested supplying ISBNs for some of the books listed.

Here they are, in the suggested format:

Another three books are already listed in this format (Children as Place-Makers; Curve; Metaphor) and should be retained in the entry.

Three other questions:

1. As previously requested, I would quite like to be identified as 'Emeritus Professor at the University of Dundee' (which I am). This was previously rejected. But I would like to explain that this is an honorary award rather than an established post and thus would not necessarily be mentioned on the University site. The list of Emeritus Professors that is on that site seems to have ceased to have been updated in 2007. I was awarded Emeritus when I retired in 2009. I can supply a scan of the letter from the University offering me this award. Please advise on how I might supply this proof of claim.

2. Is it open to the subject of a Wikipedia entry to update their own biographical details? I was, for example, a member of the government appointed Historic Buildings Council for Wales between 1992 and 2003. How can I help rectify this 'orphan' situation.

Spintendo Please do not direct subjects of articles to send information to verify content to OTRS. That by definition is not verifiable if it is not reported in a reliable source and available to readers (paywall, or free doesn't matter). Content of OTRS emails are not verifiable outside of identity verification, which this does not fall under. Praxidicae (talk) 11:00, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

The source for this claim is an interview with an architect who had read the subject's book, the architect Liza Raju Subhadra who's Ramesh House is featured in the subject's book, where the subject labeled himself as "emeritus professor Simon Unwin". The school itself, which publishes information on Emeritus Principals and Professors through the Senate section of the University's Academic and Corporate Governance portal, does not list the subject. That portal appears to be updated through 2019. Until a better source for this is found, I'm attaching the {{better source}} inline template to this claim.
