Notability

[edit]

I am currently editing this page and gathering sources and refs. But I am rather puzzled as to how Wiki can question a biographical entry when they are quite happy to already be hosting pages about several of the guy's films!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Picknick99 (talkcontribs) 14:02, 5 March 2013‎

The relevant biographical criteria are at WP:FILMMAKER, and should be assessed in isolation - it's quite plausible for a single film to be notable without necessarily conferring notability on its director or screenwriter, or for Wikipedia to be erroneously hosting articles on non-notable films. --McGeddon (talk) 11:12, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
