We need more info on this. I imagine links with fractals, physical constants, limits of scale, etc..
To be honest, I was looking for info on scalability of rocks (boulders, cobbles, pebbles, granules, sand, silt), i.e. do they look the same or can you estimate the absolute size from looking at pictures of them... 84.197.185.2 (talk) 14:54, 26 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think it's great that the author(s) included an example problem, but could we make it a little more complete? Where did the values of 21.9, 3.44, and 17.2 come from?Seenhear (talk) 00:32, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
