The map

[edit]

The map is wrong, it says that it shows the sami settlements and/or reindeerherding communities. If it really shows sami settlements, the coast of northern Norway should be coloured too, because the sami didn't only herd reindeers, there were also the ones who fished and hunted and did what the sami traditionally did before a minority started herding reindeers. And there were non reindeerherding siidas too. --85.113.164.79 (talk) 17:13, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Spelling in different languages

[edit]

Where do spellings like cearru and kite come from? Sita looks like a miss-spelling. Why not just use current orthographies, see also de:Siida. Michael.riessler (talk) 14:51, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
