Sigurd's brother Magnus?

[edit]

...his [Sigurd's] brothers Inge and Magnus...

Sigurd's brothers were Inge and Eystein, not so? Later in the article, we also find

During the minority of the brothers, Sigurd, Inge and Magnus...

Moreover, it is said that

Magnus, of whom little more is known, died of natural causes at some point in the 1140s.

Which Magnus is that? Magnus the Blind died in battle. Did Sigurd really have a third brother called Magnus? Top.Squark (talk) 13:04, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to the sagas, yes, he did. The present wording may be clumsy, I'll have a look. Heimskringla mentions a brother Magnus who died young, and didn't play a role in the saga. Magnus the Blind was not Sigurd's brother, but his cousin.--Barend (talk) 14:31, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
