[edit]

There are a number of inconsistencies in this article:

  • In two subsequent paragraphs it says that the camera was announced on October 2, and on November 17. So which is it?
  • The table in the main article says the camera has a "Custom" white balance mode, but the box on the right says that it has no custom WB. So which is it?
  • We must be very careful with resolution and pixel number figures for Foveon sensors. It's great that it has true RGB pixels, but it's dishonest to say that it has 14 million "effective" pixels; it has 14 million sensor cells, but there is a group of three colocated sensors for each pixel. The box on the right more honestly calls it "5 megepixels".

no QS

[edit]

"The user interface introduces the Quick Step function (originally introduced in SD14) that allows easy and quick modification of the main parameters."

This is not true. DP1s does not feature such a quick setup button. QS was introduced later with the DP2s, and then DP1x, DP2x.
