Erm, what the sigma?! Anyhow, I will review this within a week or two. :) ❧ LunaEatsTuna (talk), proudly editing since 2018 (and just editing since 2017) – posted at 23:04, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- Copyvio check
No copyright concerns at all; all quotations are short excerpts, justifiably relevant and attributed.
- Lead
- "various media outlets and groups" – you could do "various media outlets and mental health advocacy groups" to be it more clear.
- Conception and development
- Wikilink Overwatch and Blizzard, as this is their first mention outside of the lead section (things are linked once in the lead, the once in the body of the article).
- "In additional they" – should be "in addition they".
- "However when" – change to "However, when".
- "another scientist associated organization" – should be "the organization".
- "being mindful though to make" – I would do "being mindful to make".
- "Sigma was originally envisioned a" – should be "Sigma was originally envisioned as a"
- Design
- "roughly 8 ft tall" – add
{{convert|8|ft|cm}}, a handy template that converts imperial units to metric and vice-versa. - "connect the various pieces of wire" – state where the wires are.
- Wikilink Overwatch 2.
- "though caused concerns" – should be "although this caused concerns". Also:
- Remove the first visually of this sentence, to avoid the redundancy with its second mention.
- Appearances
- "Michael Chu stated that not the case" – change to "Michael Chu stated this is that not the case".
- "and instead Sigma was focused on the accident and left him" – I think should be "and that Sigma was instead focused on the accident that left him".
- "decision making" – should be "decision-making".
- "With Overwatch 2, after character Vendetta" – I would do "In Overwatch 2, after the character Vendetta".
- Gameplay
- "Tank-class" – I think should be "tank-class".
- Remove "in team compositions".
- "In additional to his weapon" – change to "In addition to this weapon". Also:
- Looking at the citation, is this "Experimental Barrier" only in Overwatch 2 or in both games? You should specify if it is only in the second one.
- Promotion and reception
- "animation as verging Lovecraftian" – I would do "animation as nearly Lovecraftian".
- Does the source what type of doctors Raffael Boccamazzo and Rachel Kowert are?
- "omitted from the character without impacting the character" – change to "omitted from Sigma without impacting the character" to avoid the redundancy.
- "Noting that the game" – I would do "Noting that while the game".
- Spotcheck
Passes on the refs I checked.
Thanks for the fun read! I will now place this article on hold to allow for you to make any improvements. Please ping me once you are finished so that I can know when to take another look. But also, feel free to ask any questions or refute any of my proposed changes. All the best, ❧ LunaEatsTuna (talk), proudly editing since 2018 (and just editing since 2017) – posted at 05:38, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- @LunaEatsTuna: I went through and fixed everything, added a second ref to Experimental Barrier to confirm it was in OW1 as well. Tank I left as is, as the game does treat it as a proper noun. As for the doctors, they are Doctors of Psychology, but the source itself doesn't specifically state that. Still I've had instances where I've cited a scholarly paper for example and the person's professorship wasn't explicit in that source, so hoping this still works. Let me know if there's anything else to fix!--Kung Fu Man (talk) 11:11, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- Great work on the changes! Yes, I think everything looks solid to me now. I am happy to pass this article for GA status. Congrats! ❧ LunaEatsTuna (talk), proudly editing since 2018 (and just editing since 2017) – posted at 05:16, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
