Merging
[edit]It was suggested that Sigmund and Sigismund be merged but nobody has made comments on either. I think peple are going to search by the name they see, so notes at the bottom advising of the variant should be enough. If it gets to be a live issue again, feel free to r-tag it. I'm just taking some initiative here because there are a ton of backlogged mergers and I'm trying to clean them up. Avraham 15:02, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- We uselessly have separate pages for Sigismund, Sigmund (given name) and Zygmunt. It leads to useless overlaps & repetitions. Please discuss at Talk:Zygmunt#Merge!!!.
- PS: I noticed the above suggestion only after placing mine on both the other pages' talk-page. Avraham has written his 17.5 years ago!!! We should act, not sleep on the job. Thanks, Arminden (talk) 10:59, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
