The text says: "Sigfried Giedion ... sometimes misspelled Siegfried Giedion". Yet I see the OUP, which published his books, called him Siegfried. So does the Minnesota Uni. Press. The corresponding German entry simply says: "Sigfried Giedion (teils auch Siegfried geschrieben)". I do not know German, but that I guess that means "sometimes spelled Giedion"), which is different from "misspelled". Indeed the name is not misspelled but variously spelled, as his publication history and the German Wikipedia makes clear. Revision is called for.Reply
