I tried to clean up Shutdown valve a little, adding links and a See also section per WP:LAYOUT. The article needs more editing, and some sources. See the Globe valve article for a small but better-developed example of an article on a similar topic. To-do:
- Add more content.
- Divide the article into a distinct lead section and body sections.
- Make something coherent out of the trailing incomplete sentence:
