Third Hotel was not built by Francis Cornwall Sherman.
[edit]Francis Cornwall Sherman died prior to the Great Chicago Fire. The company which operated the second hotel apparently commissioned the design and construction of the third hotel. 98.206.87.210 (talk) 06:39, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

College Inn broth
[edit]According to College Inn's website, the name comes from the restaurant in Hotel Sherman. I'm not sure how (or whether) to elegantly incorporate this into the article.
