It's not just you. This article describes a rate of deformation, which is strain. It is categorically wrong to call it shear rate. It would be like changing the title of the "Acceleration" page to read "Force." This page should simply be nuked.Deke77 (talk) 22:57, 21 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Add the citation of Temporal rate so, whoever read this article can verify the term. When I try to search it, I get Temporal method instead of Temporal rate in Google search result. When I search on Google "Temporal rate" , I can't get direct interpretation of this term. It's kind of unrelevant ~2025-34668-19 (talk) 19:22, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
