Requested move 24 October 2024

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. In this discussion, I find consensus to move Sharpness (disambiguation) to Sharpness, and to move the port Sharpness to Sharpness, Gloucestershire. Whether to move Sharpness (cutting) to the base name is a worthwhile discussion. (non-admin closure) 𝚈𝚘𝚟𝚝 (𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚟𝚝) 15:30, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

– The English port isn't what I think of when I think of "sharpness". If anything, it's the concept of things being sharp (e.g. a sharp knife, or a sharp sheet of paper), so there might be a materials science article in there. In terms of pageviews, the current top two are Sharpening and Sharpness (the port), which is weaker, but I still think a requested move might be a good idea.
