I don't think there's really any concern about Bemis' notability -- he's been mayor for a long time, Gresham is one of the larger cities in the state, there's been a great deal of local coverage of him. The article will however need some work to draw that notability out (and conform to WP's style standards). I'll chip away at it a little. -Pete (talk) 17:02, 4 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I added more external references about Bemis and some of his more significant initiatives as Mayor of Gresham, hopefully more firmly establishing noteworthiness. Frank1ray (talk) 01:21, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

With the addition of the "after his first year" profile from the Outlook, I think his notability is established. Aboutmovies, what do you think? Feel free to add the tag back if you think it's necessary. I also added the {{inline}} template, to reflect that this (and other) sources really should be incorporated into the article as inline citations, rather than generic external links.

One other source I found: Bemis leading Gresham to win "Green Power Community" status. May want a 2ndary source though. -Pete (talk) 00:27, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
