Bailey and Diamond definition
[edit]Bailey et al. 2016 (with Lisa Diamond as the third author) included this definition of sexual fluidity on page 56: "Sexual fluidity is situation-dependent flexibility in a person’s sexual responsiveness, which makes it possible for some individuals to experience desires for either men or women under certain circumstances regardless of their overall sexual orientation"
. This definition is different from the definition used in the introduction. It also seems a bit clearer. Given Diamond is a co-author of this paper, it would seem this definition should be given weight. Zenomonoz (talk) 11:33, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

Bi-cycle?
[edit]I want to mention the bi-cycle in the article, perhaps with this phrasing:
The bi-cycle is a slang term used amongst bisexuals to refer to sexual fluidity between how much attraction they feel towards certain genders.[1][2]

- BlankEclair, please see WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY. What is in the lead should already be discussed in the body first. This seems worthy of inclusion IMO, as there are probably sources discussing it in the context of sexual fluidity. So you might need to figure out where to discuss this in the body first before including it in the lead. Zenomonoz (talk) 09:03, 13 April 2025 (UTC)

- BlankEclair maybe just make a new section titled something like: "Bi-cycle" or "Bi-cycle among bisexuals"? I think that makes sense since this is a big part of sexual fluidity. Zenomonoz (talk) 09:29, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
