Re-doubled agent

[edit]

My understanding is that a re-doubled agent is a double agent whose identity is compromised resulting in him spying for the people he tried to fool whereas a triple agent is a double agent whose deception includes pretending to be a double agent for his enemy’s side. If that’s the case, it would be more accurate to call Severus Snape a triple agent than a re-doubled agent 142.113.6.241 (talk) 19:59, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

In <Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix>, it is written "They end prematurely when Harry accidentally backfires Snape's spell and views one of Snape's worst childhood memories without the latter's permission." (referring to the Occlumency lessons). I think it would be more accurate to write that "They end prematurely when Harry looks into Snape's pensieve after Snape leaves the room, and views Snape's worst childhood memory without his permission." Is "fictional school bullies" an appropriate category for Snape?

[edit]

"School bullies" seems to imply students of the school who bully other students in the school. This is affirmed by the category being a subcategory of "Fictional students". I think this category was placed due to his treatment of the main characters, but it seems a bit inappropriate. In the series there isn't much to indicate he was a bully himself - his treatment of Lily doesn't seem like a bullying situation (she is not vulnerable, for one), and he was, in fact, the one who was bullied. Either "fictional school bullies" is removed from the "fictional students" category, or Snape is removed from "fictional school bullies". jolielover♥talk 05:55, 26 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree with this rationale - I've been bold and removed the cat. Chaheel Riens (talk) 07:22, 26 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done: Prince is her maiden name. It's customary to list by current married name — IVORK Talk 16:12, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
