Puncak Yaya vs Mt. Wilhelm

The section Oceania tells us about the assumption that "the western part of New Guinea changed continents in 1969". I would assume this concerns the indepence of Papua New Guinea, which happened in 1975 and had the eastern part of the island switching from Asia to Oceania. Bad wording as it is still a challenge

“while reaching the peak of the "Seven Summits" is no longer considered a significant achievement amongst mountaineers, it remains a popular challenge for "adventure mountaineers" using expedition climbing techniques.”

Something being cliche, as mentioned beforehand, doesn’t mean it isn’t a significant achievement among mountaineers, Mount Everest alone is considered a significant achievement. Although that first wording too is problematic imo the second one is plainly wrong.

I suggest:

I suppose this really comes down to what's meant by "significant achievement". In the sense of 'climbing a mountain is hard,' absolutely, climbing anything that size is significant. In the sense of 'something worth bragging about in the climbing community', then per the previously cited article, not really. Since that sentence currently specifies "among mountaineers" the second interpretation is more apt.

More accurate might be something like Although climbing the Seven Summits has been called "a relatively common—almost cliché—tour of each continent's highest peak",<ref> it remains a popular challenge for "adventure mountaineers" using expedition climbing techniques.
