re: Relationship to other equilibrium refinements
Just a quick question: Is it really the case that "Sequential equilibrium is a further refinement of subgame perfect equilibrium"? in Kreps and Wilson they state that "Every perfect equilibrium is sequential.". This would suggest that a subgame perfect equilibrium is a refinement of a sequential equilibrium, if anything, no?

Sequential equilirbrium does refine subgame perfect equilibrium. In the quote above, Kreps and Wilson are not talking about subgame perfection. They are talking about extensive-form trembling hand perfection. And we do have that extensive-form trembling hand perfect equilibrium refines sequential equilibrium - which refines subgame perfect equilibrium. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.160.47.54 (talk) 19:20, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
