This page was mainly set up to describe and document the ideas and concepts at the cd-hit open source project page.

Hopefully the idea is that people who make similar algorithms can expand this page, while maintaing a central version of the idea involved.

Not sure if that makes any sense, but I am aiming at a kind of open science thing.
