This page has plenty of writing on it but contains an odd number of irrelevant links, such as the link to the metric Gram labeled as a link to a Gram myth. I also find it detrimental that the article has an unnecessary preoccupation with swords, specifically those from the Inuyasha and Bleach anime series.

The article should be edited to touch on characters such as KOS-MOS and Cyborg where the character was clearly created to be a weapon but may have expanded beyond. Also the Safeguard featured in BLAME!, other characters from the series might also fit but would have to go through the 'sentient weapon' or 'artificial warrior' debate

Keep or merge?

While this article seems like it should be merged into magic sword, I think that it doesn't necessarily need to be merged, since there are other examples of sentient weapons that aren't swords, such as robots/computers or even other magical objects.--ZXCVBNM (TALK) 02:29, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
