[edit]What does this sentence mean?
"The metallicity of these old stars is also very low at [Fe/H] < −2, which means that they contain at least 100 times less heavy elements than the Sun."
A mathematically logical interpretation might suggest that we're measuring from some hypothetical star composed of 100% heavy elements, measuring what fraction of Sol is composed of heavy elements, and going 100 times the difference-- which would result in some large negative number, nonsense in this application.
My guess is that this section should instead say "one hundredth the amount of heavy elements of the Sun," which isn't the same thing at all.
