This is stupid basically. One's name is determined by what he has given in legal documents or what his parents have named him. Not the way some random propagandist name him. If you doubt once again try visiting Tamil Nadu and ask his name to people. Getting a vote share of 8.2% without bribing even a rupee to the voters is basically beyond reality in Tamil Nadu, but he did this. No other party could do this. Giving 50% seats to women canditates is a utopian dream even in the west, but he did it in every single election he faced. He is not celebrated for winning the 2016 elections, instead for his straight forwardness and progressive ideals. His name is Senthamizhan Seeman

People here are saying his real name is Sebastian simon. Several fact-checkers such as 'You-turn' magazine proved this is wrong. This propaganda was carried out by BJP and DMK who tried to portray him as a christian. He got triggered in a press meet when the question was asked and said 'Simon dhaan, adhunaala enna'. He went on to say that why shouldn't a christian(in case) talk about Tamil issues. In northern Sri Lanka both Hindus and Christians were killed for the sake of being Tamil. Ethnicity is more important than religion or caste. His father's name is Senthamizhan, you or me can't decide about using one's father's name either before or after the person's name, it is his own decision. These half-boiled guys spread hatred for no reason. If it is true that he's simon then try providing proofs like legal documents. Seeman (politician) → Senthamizhan SeemanSenthamizhan Seeman – A more natural title, helped by the fact that he isn't just a politician, and has found time to act in movies even after taking to politics. Senthamizhan isn't an honorific, but a patronymic. Though it is treated like an honorific, it doesn't violate WP:HONORIFIC, for the same reason as Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Teresa. Actress Vijayalakshmi Controversy

Both Vijayalakshmi and Seeman were in a relationship for a long time. She claimed that Seeman made a false promise and alleged that he had a physical relationship with her on numerous occasions, though her health condition was too weak.
