The photograph of inversely graded traction carpets, formerly displayed on this page, appears to be a photograph taken by me in the early 1980s, of which I still have the original. The same individual sand grains can be recognized. However, a US coin appears to have been photoshopped over the original Canadian penny, the scale object in the original picture.

I am happy to make my original picture available (as can be read in the copyright statement at http://www.ualberta.ca/~jwaldron/structurespage.html) but I would like to be acknowledged. I would request that the originator please correct the commons copy of the photograph to correctly attribute it.Glaucophane (talk) 04:51, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
