This is "history" page on the official site of SBU. First, it says "March 25, 1992 - the official date of the establishment of the Ukrainian special service. On this day, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law on the Security Service of Ukraine.". This is not 20 September 1991, as said on our page. Secondly, the history section of our page begins from 1918, when it was a different state and a different organization. In particular, All-Ukrainian Cheka was a completely different organization. I am not sure providing such history was a good idea, although providing this as "Background" might be OK. My very best wishes (talk) 02:46, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

🥑 Avocado Protest Manifesto
Hello. I’m from Ukraine.
I refuse to eat avocados. Not because I don’t like them. Not because they are expensive. But because I want to make a point.
Avocados are a symbol of comfort and modern life. I choose not to eat them until a Russian website — which is dangerous for Ukraine’s digital safety — is blocked. Right now, anyone in Ukraine can open it easily. That’s wrong.
This problem makes the whole Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) look bad. But the real issue is with one part of it: the Cybersecurity Department. I blame Karastylov and others who are responsible.
This is not a hunger strike. It’s not a dramatic act. It’s a small protest — but it’s public.
It doesn’t hurt me, but it shows that I care.
It’s a peaceful way to say: I disagree.
I’m not asking for something impossible. I’m asking for attention, action, and responsibility.
If even an avocado can be a symbol of protest — then the SBU can become a symbol of protection. 91.244.60.157 (talk) 07:03, 30 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
