I've seen the term "section" used to refer to groups of paragraphs within a chapter which are separated by an extra blank line or sometimes by an asterism where there is a change of scene or time.

Is "section" a technical term in this regard or just a general term with no clearly defined specific constraints? Hippietrail 18:06, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
