Plot Outline

I added a good introduction. Anybody willing to add a proficient enough plotline for the film for those who have seen the film? I am thinking the template should be what is found in Lupin III: The First article - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lupin_III:_The_First ESV 16:11, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

"Concept" section

The article includes a lot of background information about the different adaptations of Hansel and Gretel and its influences on media, while this kind of information would be good on the main source article, this article should mostly focus about the film and its production. User:EnshrineSnowVista restored most of this information saying there "needs to be a context or a concept section describing the film", which I consider can be instead best summarized in a Production or Development section. -Gouleg🛋️ (Stalk • Hound) 19:00, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Information regarding the animated film is okay (including how the artists adapted the original story), anything else that does not involve the animated film should not be included -Gouleg🛋️ (Stalk • Hound) 20:30, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Recent additions to the plot summary

While MOS:FILMPLOT says that plot summaries should be within 400 to 700 words, it is not necessary to reach the 700 words limit, this is not a high school assignment. Plot summaries are just an overview of what happens in the film and should avoid going into technical details; I believe details that can be omitted and do not affect clarity include:

• Gretel rescuring the Lake Witch's daughter and other magical creatures at the beginning
• Going into detail of how they made the antidote (related to the first point) and how they make it to the wedding
• Integrating the cookie dog into the plot (they are a sidekick and do not contribute greatly to the storyline)
• How the mermaids are unable to interrogate Ilvira's goons
