- I don't see any indication in the source that this is about Sebouh Nersesian; only the name 'Arshak' is given. This also seems like an WP:EXCEPTIONAL claim that needs more reliable sourcing than a local news website. Revolution Saga (talk) 17:44, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- if u check carefully u ll see the name 'arshak pasha' gonna add Engilish sources as well.for details try to auto- translate the page in source Can b vargul (talk) 14:11, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

- The second source you gave doesn't say anything about Arshak/Sebouh Nersesian and is also explicitly denying the Armenian Genocide, so it should probably be avoided. I checked some Armenian sources (Sebouh's own memoirs: Էջեր իմ յուշերէն, vol. 1, Boston, 1925, and Ashot Nersisyan's biography: Զորավար Սեպուհ, Էդիթ Պրինտ, Yerevan, 2005) and it partially confirms what is stated in the source Millî Mücadele Döneminde Bayburt / Bayburt During the National Struggle. Sebouh Nersesian admits in his memoirs that some of his troops were undisciplined and committed robberies and murders, which he was unable to get under control. He also states that he ordered a few hundred Turks (the population was rising up to aid the Ottoman army's attack) to be confined to the prison called Tashkhana (taşhane?) (Nersisyan, Զորավար Սեպուհ, 2005, p. 217; Էջեր իմ յուշերէն, pp. 465-466). Then before retreating, he ordered the burning of the Tashkhana and the munitions and supplies stored in the city, which, Sebouh writes, "meant the burning of the whole city" (Nersisyan, Զորավար Սեպուհ, 2005, p. 218; Էջեր իմ յուշերէն, pp. 471). I'll add this information and note that contemporary Ottoman military reports (the ones cited in Millî Mücadele Döneminde Bayburt) say that the death toll in Bayburt exceeded 800.
