The Largest?

[edit]

I question the statement that Seattle Men's Chorus claims to be the largest gay men's chorus in the world. There are other gay men's choruses (specifically Turtle Creek Chorale and San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus) with as many, if not more, members. MusicMen 17:12, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

i too, question the voracity of this statement, but they do in fact make the claim on their website. that's the reason i included the phrase, ‘bills itself...’ --emerson7 | Talk 19:25, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Perhaps I'll take the matter up with the organization directly. MusicMen 19:39, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

As a member of the organization but not a spokesperson for it, I'll simply point out that the page entitled "The Largest Community Chorus In North America" is in fact making a claim with respect to the combined Seattle Men's and Women's Choruses and the joint volunteer and paid staff who support both choruses, under the umbrella of Flying House Productions.
