Military screening
[edit]One other possible meaning of the word screen is that of a protective wall of smaller units around something precious or vulnerable, as in screening vessel, convoy screen and screen task force. It would be nice to have an article about the general concept of screens in naval warfare (there is an article about capital ships, which is kind of the opposite to a screen). --ComradeMicha (talk) 18:29, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
