This article is about an important political figure. Yes, all members of state legislatures are considered notable. I have therefore removed the tag. However, the article is in serious need of expansion: it needs newspaper references to him, which should be easy enough. It also needs some details of his bio, his education, profession ,previous offices, etc. , and ideally details about the last election (opponents, votes, that sort of thing.)
