A lot of people have been editing the article recently, both here and at Jack Branning to say that Maslen plays DC Jack Branning.

Please stop this. He does not play DC Jack Branning because Jack left the police force before he arrived in Walford. In fact I think that was even stated in one of his first episodes! So therefore the article should read that he plays "Jack Branning". If anyone disagrees with this then please discuss it here rather than turn either page into an edit war --5 albert square (talk) 01:20, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Moreover, the character has never been refered to as "DC Jack Branning". AnemoneProjectors 01:29, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I appreciate that the page says he played "DS Phil Hunter" but the difference is that DS Phil Hunter is a fictional character from long running police procedural The Bill and was referred to as DS Hunter by a number of characters in the programme. Jack hasn't been called "DC Jack Branning" by anyone --5 albert square (talk) 01:36, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

SCD table

[edit]

I don't think the table of his SCD dances should be included, because he's an actor and this is a relatively minor thing. If people want to know about it in detail they can go to the SCD page. AnemoneProjectors 22:05, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've seen a few of these pop up in various contestants articles. Could it be turned into prose somehow? - JuneGloom Schmooze 22:43, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
I don't think it would work as prose. I think it gives undue weight to something that isn't Maslen's actual occupation. AnemoneProjectors 22:55, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
